One correction - the set comes with a 8" and 10" fry pan, not 8" and 12". For the price I paid, I'll buy a 12" fry pan and be way ahead of the game.

This cookware just oozes quality. I've been looking for some time for a set, and I've purchased a few individual pieces to try them out. This set puts them to shame. They heat evenly, they have a gorgeous finish, and they're made from heavy material.

The handles are sculpted and long. The 10" skillet has a handle that is almost 10" long. Most of the pieces have helper handles.

The set comes with a DVD that show the care and use of the set with Marcus as the chef.

The only thing I can't figure out is how to get food not to stick. I've had the same problem with other stainless steel cookware. Some people say cook on low heat, some say to make sure everything is blazing hot before putting the food in. I bought some Pam today, and it worked fine on one side of a hamburger but when I flipped it the other side stuck. At least the pans clean easily, just soak with hot water. The manufacturer even recommends a stainless steel powder like Barkeeper's Friend, as the finish is satin anyway.

The best thing about this set is the its made in the U.S.A. by Wear Ever in Wisconsin. Besides putting money back in the country, I probably don't have to worry about a factory in Szchen Szu province picking up whatever heavy metals are laying around and making a pot for me.

if you are able to purchase this cookware when it is on the gold box deal ($170-239) it is well worth the money. It is very expensive but when you cook with this set you will see why it costs so much. The tri-layer construction that wraps around the sides and not just the bottom is just one big difference in this cookware versus other brands. The handles are very durable with a nice handle on the opposite side to help easily move the pots and pans when they are hot. The handles stay cool. enjoy your purchase.

This is the best cookware I've ever used. Couldn't be easier to clean and cooks very well. This is an excellent purchase.
By the way, there is no cookware out there that's perfectly nonstick without oil, but I wasn't expecting "magic" cookware. This is fab. I love it.

We purchased these after a great deal of research. The pans arrived quickly and were packaged well. They are heavy and seem well-made. As for appearance they are very nice. The handles seem solid and the lids are tight fitting and heavy. I've read complaints about the pans being too heavy, but that's not something I feel is a bad thing. The non-stick coating works very well. Eggs, sauces, even oatmeal has not been a problem at all. I have not had any problems with denting or problems with the coating (although we follow directions quite closely, lest we ruin something because of our ineptitude). The conduct heat very well and you need to use a lower heat setting because of this. The use of vegetable oil is not recommended, so we haven't used it! My only problem with the set (and it was my own fault for not thinking) is the size of the saute pans. They are perfect for two, perhaps three people. But in our family of 4 they tend to be a bit small. The sizes were clearly stated and I should have paid more attention to them. The 8 qt stockpot is wonderful though and like the other saucepans tapers in towards the middle slightly which makes emptying them much easier. For an experienced chef these would probably not suffice, (but what chef would use non-stick?!?) but for home-style cooking with easy clean-up and an affordable price I don't really think you could go wrong with these.
