Earth Pan 10-Piece Hard Anodized Cookware Set

  1. We purchased these pans based off of the positive reviews on here and the high rating by Consumer Reports. It may just be a default with our fry pans but the non stick lasted all of a week. We can’t make anything in them at all. Since we use these more than any of the other pans we feel like this was a complete waste of money. I don’t care how many positive reviews you read, DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We purchased this set to replace a stainless steel set of Kirkland cookware and these are fantastic! They are easily comparable and possibly even superior to an earlier set of Kirkland non-stick hard anodized cookware we had a few years back from Costco, but considering these were half the price just makes the whole deal sweeter! Originally we purchased a single large saucepan from Earth Pan and were surprised by the quality of the pan – an easily cleaned, even heating, heavy-duty pan that has taken some serious abuse from us over the past year and hasn’t had any problems. We like the saucepan so much that we decided to purchase this set. After many hours of soaking and scrubing the stainless steel ware we were ready to trade in for something easier to clean, like Teflon. However, there are little kids in the home and we didn’t want to risk potentially having harmful chemicals floating around from the Teflon. We are currently hand-washing all the set as our old anodized set was sent through the dishwasher all the time and the outer coating eventually came off – not sure if that’s bad but it didn’t look very good.

Bottom-line: We love this set and with it being currently under $130, we are recommending it to all our friends and family. Even if it were $200, we’d still consider it a good buy.

  3. I never imagined that cookware could be so well make, enjoyable to use, and easy to clean. Imagine…. no butter, oil or sprays needed to keep items from sticking, and I’ve never liked hand washing hard to clean pots which required elbow grease or a long soaking. Not now. I actually enjoy cleaning a day old mac and cheese pot with a little soap and a sponge. Am I kidding? Nope. Oh and men beware, you might actually want to cook things now. That’s just how scary these pots can be.

We purchased these after a great deal of research. The pans arrived quickly and were packaged well. They are heavy and seem well-made. As for appearance they are very nice. The handles seem solid and the lids are tight fitting and heavy. I’ve read complaints about the pans being too heavy, but that’s not something I feel is a bad thing. The non-stick coating works very well. Eggs, sauces, even oatmeal has not been a problem at all. I have not had any problems with denting or problems with the coating (although we follow directions quite closely, lest we ruin something because of our ineptitude). The conduct heat very well and you need to use a lower heat setting because of this. The use of vegetable oil is not recommended, so we haven’t used it! My only problem with the set (and it was my own fault for not thinking) is the size of the saute pans. They are perfect for two, perhaps three people. But in our family of 4 they tend to be a bit small. The sizes were clearly stated and I should have paid more attention to them. The 8 qt stockpot is wonderful though and like the other saucepans tapers in towards the middle slightly which makes emptying them much easier. For an experienced chef these would probably not suffice, (but what chef would use non-stick?!?) but for home-style cooking with easy clean-up and an affordable price I don’t really think you could go wrong with these.

This is the best cookware I’ve ever used. Couldn’t be easier to clean and cooks very well. This is an excellent purchase.

By the way, there is no cookware out there that’s perfectly nonstick without oil, but I wasn’t expecting “magic” cookware. This is fab. I love it.
